| The "Way Forward for Sport" concludes the second stage of planning to develop a new strategy for sport in Lincolnshire for April 2009- March 2015.
The “Way Forward for Sport” is now published for public consultation, and it is hoped that the people who have already contributed to the “Aspirations for Sport in Lincolnshire” and other interested members of our community will review the “Way Forward for Sport” and feedback their views by: January 14th 2009.

| The ‘Have your Say’ Consultation has been the initial stage of developing a new Strategy for Sport in Lincolnshire for April 2009 – March 2015. This first stage sought the views of Lincolnshire residents about a number of issues and has sought to establish an overall vision for sport in the county. These views have been sought through public consultation and a number of different activities.

Lincolnshire is a successful sporting county that
has many attributes of which it can be proud.We have
developed Olympic athletes and community focused clubs,
we have led the way in developing a County Structure
in which every organisation plays a key part. Between
2007 and 2010 Lincolnshire can raise its level of expectations,
aspirations and performance, in sport and in our society
as a whole.
