Adults should do at least 150 minutes of physical activity every week to achieve some health benefits.
An easy way to reach this is 30 minutes on at least 5 days of the week.
It might sound like a lot if you are not doing much at the moment, but there are lots of ways you can get started.
You might like to try a health walk, start jogging, or join a sports club near you. You can get out and about by hiring a bike or try some of the NHS workouts at home to fit around your lifestyle. If you are aged 18+ and have a medical condition, you might be eligible for Exercise Referral to help you get started.
And remember, we’re here to help.
