School Sport
School Sports Partnership provide support to Lincolnshire schools for sport.
Lincolnshire schools sports network has established itself over a number of years. They divide the county into eight areas, known as partnerships, and provide support to schools for sport.
Following changes in the funding for these partnerships, Lincolnshire were proactive in maintaining a schools sport structure and the School Sports Partnerships of Lincolnshire was formed. This is made up of a lead person in each of the eight partnerships. The roles of these eight people vary depending on the requirements of their host school and local area.
All of these people take up the role of ‘School Games Organisers’. This is a three day a week funded role to support schools within their partnership to maximise sporting competitions, leadership opportunities and Change 4 Life programmes including the Lincolnshire School Games.
