Sportivate

Sportivate will capture the excitement of sport and London 2012 to provide attractive and sustainable sporting opportunities for teenagers and young adults in the sport of their choice within their community.
Sportivate gives young people aged between 11 and 25 the chance to receive six weeks’ coaching in a sport of their choice. Sportivate launched in April 2011 and will run until March 2017. Funding from Sport England is allocated to all 49 County Sports Partnerships (CSP) and clubs and organisations apply for funding through their local CSP.

- Rowing in Boston
- Squash in Alford
- Wheelchair Basketball in Louth
- Football in Skegness
- Hockey in Lincoln
- Baseball in Lincoln
- Golf in Lincoln
- Target Shooting in Lincoln
- Girls Cricket in Sleaford
- Slacklining in Sleaford
- Netball in Stamford
- And much much more!

How to apply for Sportivate funding:
Please save a copy of the application form (download below) and complete the project sheet. Please read the guidance notes which will help you to complete the application form. If your project is taking place in more than one block of the year, then you will need to produce a different project sheet for each different block of the year.
Please note, you can only apply for up to TWO blocks in the year.
Please work your applications based on a maximum of £40 per head. e.g. 20 young people x £40 = £800 maximum.
YEAR 3
Block 1 – April to June 2013
Block 2 – July to September 2013
Block 3 – October to December 2013
Block 4 – January to March 2014
The deadlines to submit applications for Year 3 funding are: Friday 25th January 2013 for blocks 1 and 2 and Friday 2nd August 2013 for blocks 3 and 4.
Priority will be given to projects who aim to target disability, women and girls, NEET, and post 16.

Approved Sportivate projects
